I am thinking of applying for MBA for 2015 session. By that time I will have 12 years of experience. As of now I am planning to apply for regular full time MBA. There are two reasons to it a) EMBA seems to be out of my budge b) would like to do a career switch.
Based on what I seen in various topics listed in this site, my years of experience could be a problem for regular full time MBA. Most of the colleges look for candidates with 5-6 years of experience for full time MBA. Can you please suggest a) Is it appropriate for me to do full time MBA with 12 years of experience? B) are there any colleges in USA which are little bit relaxed on age and experience criteria? If yes can you please suggest me those colleges. I am looking for USA as of now.
To be frank, if you are looking at US schools,12 years of work experience by the time you join might become a problem. However need to analyse the chances. You can also try out a few European and Asian schools. More information available here:
