(A) to survive - "such animals" should have an antecedent in the first part of the sentence. So, word "animals" must be there.
(B) for surviving - same as A
(C) of animals to survive
(D) for survival - same as A
(E) for animals’ survival - same as A

(A) to survive => with this option "such animals" refers to nothing, lack of clarity => OUT

(B) for surviving => Same as A => with this option "such animals" refers to nothing, lack of clarity => OUT

(C) of animals to survive => this adress clarity of "such animals" but the correct idiom should be required to or required for not required of => OUT

(D) for survival => same as A => with this option "such animals" refers to nothing, lack of clarity => OUT

(E) for animals’ survival
Could be better but this is the best option here.

So answer E

non-underlined part contains 'such animals' which can exists if only there is some other reference before for that animal

(A) to survive animal reference absent
(B) for surviving animal reference absent
(C) of animals to survive Correct..to survive also correct
(D) for survival animal reference missing
(E) for animals’ survival to survive is correct..awkward.. better directly refer to animals & not animals' survival
