Hi Elnur,

To start, a 700 is an outstanding initial CAT Score (the average Score on the Official GMAT hovers around 550 most years) and with a Q47, you likely have most (if not all) of the math knowledge you need for this Exam. Thus, we have to do some analysis and define WHY you're getting questions wrong. Before we talk about how best to go about all of that, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) What study materials have you used so far?
2) When is your exact Test Date?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
4) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Thank you very much for help. here we go
1. I have finished MGMAT books and started doing gmatclub math questions. Books were easy but questions seems to be harder. I have not solved any official quant questions yet. I think myself to be really good at quant. I believe I miss practice only.
2 I have to dates. 23 July and 23 August. Want to make it in the first one and go on with the rest of my application
3. in R1 . to 3-4 top schools

Hi Elnur,

A July 23rd Test Date is just a little over 3 weeks from now - and that might not be enough for you to get to the point that you can consistently score 750+ under realistic testing conditions. That having been said, you're clearly a strong critical thinker, so you could potentially learn the necessary Tactics and make the necessary adjustments to how you respond to the Exam to hit that Score in this timeframe.

"Review" is an exceptionally important part of the GMAT training process; your ability to define WHY you're getting questions wrong is essential to defining the areas that you need to work on (and the specific things that you need to 'fix'). As such, I'd like to know a bit more about thisCAT. While a full Mistake Tracker would provide a lot more information, there are some basic questions that you should be able to answer (and the more EXACT you can be with your answers, the better):

After reviewing each section of this recent CAT, how many questions did you get wrong....
1) Because of a silly/little mistake?
2) Because there was some math/verbal that you just could not remember how to do?
3) Because the question was too hard?
4) Because you were low on time and had to guess?
5) How many Verbal questions did you 'narrow down to 2 choices' but still get wrong?

Rich
