I took 2 of
MGMAT's CAT tests and I have 2 questions regarding to actual GMAT
1 - During the tests , being able to highlight the text while I was reading helped me a lot with understanding the context. Can you do that at the actual test ?
2 - In
MGMAT CAT tests , after answering right to 4 questions straight , the hardness of the questions increased a lot. Is this the real deal in the actual test or does the hardness of the questions increase more gradually ?
Thanks .
I suggest you download GMATPrep and do a test. It is the official test prep software from GMAT and it simulates the actual test environment very closely (with a few minor differences).
That way you know exactly what your test terminal will look like.
As for the scoring algorithm, it is true that the question difficulty level increases after you get questions correct. However, questions are graded based on how many people get them correctly. So even if they are increasing in perceived difficulty, it doesn't mean that you will necessarily find them difficult. Corollary, you may find an "easier" question difficult if you struggle with that concept.
