\(3^{20}+3^{22}\) = \(3^{20}(1+3^{2})\) = \(3^{20}(1+9)\) = \(3^{20}(10)\)

Let's translate this word problem into a mathematical expression 
\(3^{20}+3^{22}\) is how many times \(3^{20}\)?
\(3^{20}+3^{22}\) = \(x\) *\(3^{20}\)
\(3^{20}*(1+3^{2})\) = \(x\) *\(3^{20}\)
\((1+3^{2})\) = \(x\)
\((10)\) = \(x\)
Now, we know that \(3^{20}+3^{22}\) is 10 times OF \(3^{20}\)
i.e. \(3^{20}+3^{22}\) is 9 times greater than \(3^{20}\)
Answer: Option A
