Wow !! 200 point improvement is phenomenal. Huge Congratulations. Are you planning to give it one more shot to break the 700?

I couldn’t be more done with the gmat. And my application deadlines didn’t afford the opportunity to retake. Being so close to 700, I probably could inch up even more, but I’m burnt out at this point.

Amazing yo! 200 score improvement and 680 in online GMAT is pretty motivating.

BTW, there was a case with one of the other test takers whose exam was cancelled because he stood up in that break without getting confirmation from the proctor.

Did you hear from your proctor when you pinged during the break i.e. did you get the confirmation before you stood up or without it and then you were still allowed to continue with the exam?

As soon as the break hit, I pinged the proctor to notify him. But I noticed I only had 3 minutes left and no one responded. So I left anyway. When I returned I saw that eventually someone did respond with a quick message saying it was okay. But I definitely wasn’t sitting in my seat when they finally replied.

Hi mharris1193,

That's OUTSTANDING news! With a 680/Q45, you can comfortably apply to any Schools that interest you - and your overall score improvement from 480 to 680 is a fantastic achievement (it shows how capable you are to face challenges, learn and improve - these are all skills that will serve you well in Business School and beyond!).

I cannot recall if we've ever discussed your application plans before. What Schools are you planning to apply to? Are your application deadlines coming up soon?

Thank you! My top choices are UT Austin and Georgetown. I also submitted an application to Duke last week as a great “stretch” target. I interviewed for both Texas and Georgetown last week. Now I wait!

Thank you so much for the amazing preparation!

Hi mharris1193,

From what you describe, this is a really exciting time (of course, we'll have to overlook all of the havoc that the Covid-19 virus has been causing, but you've been doing a lot of really effective work under less-than-ideal circumstances - and THAT is fantastic!). I hope you keep us in mind once you hear back from those Programs. We love hearing where our Alums choose to attend School.

Congratulations on all of your successes so far!
