please share what you did to improve in sc , I have peaked in all other section and need to improve in sc to cross v40 mark.

Hi, here are the things that worked for me:

1. Trying to understand the structure of the sentence. For eg - what is the subject, what is the verb, what are the subordinators, what are the pronouns and what are they referring to and what are the modifiers and what are they modifying.
2. Once you do this, you will be able to spot most of the grammatical errors in the sentence and the wrong options.
3. However, sometimes none of the options might appear correct. In this case, choose the best one. For eg - GMAT sometimes ignores pronoun errors and also makes exception for "which" when used as a modifier. You can ignore the prepositional clause to get to the noun that "which" is modifying.
4. Sometimes, it may happen that you are stuck between 2 grammatically correct options. In this case, always read the original sentence and try to understand the meaning of the author. Just go with the option that is more consistent with this meaning.

Good luck!
