Hi,
My profile is as follows:
Age: 24
Sex: Female
Ethnicity:Indian
Nationality: Australian
Work Experience: 2 yrs, 3 yrs by the time I start the MBA
Industry: Spatial Sciences
GMAT: 580
GPA: 3.6
I belong to a small industry of the Sptial Sciences. It is extremely specialized and I want to start my MBA as soon as possible. I took the GMAT 2 weeks ago and didnt score too well. I believe my score was not a tru reflection of my ability so I am retaking it in 6 weeks. However, I would like to know which universities could I apply to with my current score and profile.
Previously I was looking at the top B schools in Europe: LBS, INSEAD, IESE, IE B School
Hong Kong UST, ISB (India), MBS (Australia) and AGSM (Australia).
Could anyone please advise me as to which B schools in Europe and Asia I could apply for?
Thanks
Aanchal
The 580 is within the range of acceptable at programs like Manchester and AGSM, because you are young I feel the schools are going to make you retake it to prove you have the intellectual capacity for their programs. If you were older and had exciting and unique experience, they might have considered being a bit lenient on the GMAT. If you have been in Australia your whole life, then ISB might be eager to have you in the class to share that Australian experience and mindset. Much of how lenient they will be depends on how many other applicants with Australian experience apply.
My advice is for you to go ahead and retake the GMAT (after additional preparation) and apply round 2.
