Thanks for your feedback Paul,

I have a question though.

The deadlines for most schools that I am applying to is around the 15th of November.

However, the earliest I can now take the test is the 19th of November.

I was wondering if I did retake the test and at the same time got all my app stuff in by th first deadline, would my application be considered in the first round itself or the second round.

Since I would be retaking the GMAT after the first deadline is over, how would they evaluate my application??

Also, should I mention it in my application that i am retaking the test????

Ashish

Ashish,

You will have to ask each school what their policy is in that situation. It's a fair question to ask them. You should definitely tell them you're planning on retaking the GMAT. If you don't they may not know to hold off on reviewing your app until the new score comes in. My sense is that they would consider your application as a first-round application especially since you will be submitting your earlier GMAT score with your app--so you met their deadline with a full app. So explain your situation to them and ask them what their policy is.

Good luck,
