Hi Sukanya,

As the GMAT is only one component of an MBA application, programs also consider your fit and potential through your essays, interviews, recommendations, resume, transcripts and overall application. Scoring 650 on the GMAT allows you to be considered by most schools, although this would be in the lower range for some of the top tier programs.

You can look at some of the names MBA rankings on this site and others, such as the Financial Times, and use it as a starting point to research further.

Best regards,
Edison

Hi Edison,

I checked a few schools and found out that I am eligible for the Nanyang Business School (2 years work exp. and 650 GMAT). Could you please guide how to make my profile stronger to get a call for interview from Nanyang?

Thanks,

Sukanya

Hi Sukanya,

To help strengthen your chances, articulate an achievable and ambitious post MBA goal, that is fit with your background and experience. Showing how your target MBA program can help you get there while also showing the value you can bring to the program will also help.

To get in-depth consultation, you may engage the Veritas Prep team, who will guide you step-by-step and provide you with feedback to boost your chances while you work on a personalized application.

You may check the Veritas Prep website or I can help request someone from the Veritas Prep team to contact you.

All the best,
Edison
