Updated my splits and practice scores.

What was your score split? What was your practice scores? When I practice using grockit, I am getting every single RC question wrong at times. Is the real GMAT that difficult?[\quote]
50Q, 37V. Grockit is good and bad. Yes, the verbal in grockit is indicative except for the times when grockit questions change the words on questions from OG. You should definitely expect higher standards for SC and pretty high for CR in GMAT.
And in general, from my perspective, RC and CRs are tougher than SCs. SCs are your scoring areas as they are generally focussed, easy to find patterns, there is more than 1 mistake. CRs are subjective and pretty crooked at times. I still cant figure out the answers to the 2 CRs I got in GMAT.
For RCs ..be really happy when you get a big RC... and be wary when you get a short one.. those are more dangerous.

So which schools you are applying? IIMs or US or Europe?
IIMs, ISB, INSEAD, HKUST and few schools in US. Mostly 1 year - 15 month programs. And very subject to the tuition I have to pay. I will have 2 kids by next summer .. so it ain't gonna be smooth :). But what the heck, I took on GMAT ..i can take anything now (ok, that sounds ridiculous).

great score !!

I won't say you have been lucky on the test day; its your hard work that reflects your score.

2 reasons:

1. Experimental questions might have helped you.

2. Some smart people perform better in the real exam than in the mock test conducted at home.

:P congrats and good luck ahead. My scores are quite close to your's ,and I hope that D-day score exceeds my practice scores.
