are you sure you haven't made a typo while mentioning your score. With that split, you should have definitely scored higher on GMAT. check my score from a recently taken GMAT...

Good catch guys, sorry. I copy-pasted my stats in and must have missed updating my V/Q scores! They're actually 41V/45Q, 5.5 AWA, 710 total.
