3 years work-ex in a major Electronics firm
GMAT 1: 710 (Q50 V37) IR 5/8
Target Colleges:
1. UCLA Anderson
2. Carnegie Mellon Tepper
3. UCB Haas
4. UT Austin McCombs
5. ISB Hyderabad
6. XLRI Jamshedpur (Business Management)
Took my GMAT 2 days back, I am not really happy with the score, as being from the over-represented competitive IT pool, I don't feel this would count as a great score. I believe that putting in another month of effort into verbal shall take me to V40 , but I am not sure if I should focus on improving the score or work harder on the applications. Considering that I want to get into tech consulting post MBA , are these colleges in my reach :D? or would it be better if I give it another shot? Kindly suggest. Also it would be great if you could suggest me as to what enhancements would be needed in my profile in order to get a decent scholarship at these schools.
