Dear Archit3110
The question stem states that the amount invested provides return in 2 parts...
First 15 Years = Interest at a certain rate.
Last 10 Years = Interest 100% of sum for the previous year.
Lets look the last 10 years scenario as we do not have any information about the fist 15 years...
Let, Principal at the beginning of Year 1 be p , thus amount after 1st years will be 2p
So, Principal at the beginning of Year 2 be 2p , thus amount after 1st years will be 4p
........................................................................................................................
Thus, you see, the amount we have today is twice the amount what we had at the end of last year = Last years amount is half the amount we have at the end of this year.....
Hence, Answer will be (B)
