A. 12
B. 16
C. 24
D. 36
E. 48

2eggs for 3 cups of milk

4 cups = 1 quart
6 quarts= 6*4= 24 cups of milk
given egg nog calls for 2 eggs for 3 cups of milk so we can say that for 8 cups of milk
8*2 = 16 eggs IMO B

We can set up a proportion to find the right answer choice:

- One quart has 4 cups of milk, 6 cups means 24 cups of milk.
- We also know that for every cup of milk, you require 2 eggs.

How many eggs do we need then?

24c / x = 3c / 2

Solve the proportion to find x.

2x24 = 48/3 = 16

x = 16.
