In Question no. 2 it is asked "minimum percentage required in the interview to be considered for selection" not "minimum percentage required in written to be considered for selection" so it should be i think 35 which is established as explained in explanation for question no1?

The interview marks are out of 50, so 35 out of 50 is 70%. But yes the explanation has been taking it as written.

I’ll amend it, thanks.

I believe it cannot be determined. We know 70% is sufficient for admission, and we know 40% will get you rejected. However, the question asks for the minimum percentage for admission. While 70% is sufficient, the cutoff could be anywhere between 40-70% and be consistent with the table. Hence, the answer should be cannot be determined based on wording IMO. Please let me know if I'm misinterpreting this!

In written, someone meeting other criteria but getting 69 is not selected. On the other hand a person with 70 in written gets selected.
So surely the minimum required is 70.

You are correct that the minimum is 70 for written. However, I am referring to question 2 where it is asking about interview (at least in the practice exam database). Since it is asking about the minimum percentage for the interview, I contend that cannot be determined with the given information based on the above reasoning. However, the correct answer says 70–which is true for written, but not true for the interview IMO.
