DisciplinedPrep, Thanks!
Sorry, I wasn't aware of how it works and I thought since my doubt lies under two categories, I should post in both.

Will make sure my following posts arent duplicated. Thanks.

I am still learning grammar so didn't attempt SC. Also, I studied Powerscore CR and Veritas RC book.

Kindly guide, I'm planning to give GMAT latest by 20 Dec'20
If you are in the learning grammar phase of SC, your goal of appearing in GMAT in the next 15 days sounds slightly ambitious jain808.

EducationAisle Agree, but I don't have any choice! Also, I have given attempts previously but then Verbal is still at 25, that's why reviewing basic grammar.
Any guidance, even in the given case will be of great help. Thanks.

Hi jain808,

To start, statistically-speaking, raising a 650 to the point that you could consistently score in the 700-720 range will likely require that you commit to at least another 1 - 1.5 months of consistent, guided study - and you might have to work on more than just your RC skills. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level. With a December 20th Test Date, you only have about 2 weeks of potential study time remaining. While I understand that you really want to take the GMAT as scheduled, if you ultimately "need" a 700+ Score, then THAT Score Goal has to come first - and you have to give yourself enough time to achieve it.

Based on the information in your prior post, I have a few follow-up questions:

1) What were your Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores on each of your prior CATs/mocks (from August)?
2) Are you planning to take the At-home GMAT or are you planning to take your GMAT at a Test Facility?
3) What are the exact application deadlines that you are facing?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

2) Are you planning to take the At-home GMAT or are you planning to take your GMAT at a Test Facility? Test - Facility
3) What are the exact application deadlines that you are facing? IIM-I 24 Dec 2020, IIM A,B,C - 4 January 2021, ISB - 10 Jan'21

I agree. Guided study is very important, plus I've been unable to follow my schedule. Also, I'm equally poor at SC as well. I feel like how educators are able to identify everything just by looking at the sentence, I am not anywhere close and I use the Gut feeling, or elimination based on common errors and I'm unable to apply the grammar rules. In RC, it's hard to retain RC even after slow reading and I'm spending 20 minutes in 7 question essay, with good accuracy though. Skimming is not giving that accuracy on such RC.

I have answered your questions in Red above.

Thank you so much, Rich and others for helping out. Hope I am able to land anywhere close.
