Currently:
A: 5x
C: 4x
Equation 1: (5x+6)/(4x+6) = 11/9
x=12

SO currently: A -> 60, C -> 48
Let them get married y years before:
(60-y)/(48-y) = 7/5
y = 18

SO C's age when they got married -> 48-18 = 30

current age for A= 5p and C= 4p
in 6 years, ratio will be 11:9
so, 5p+6 / 4p +6 = (11/9)
solving this, we get p = 12

so currently A is 60 years old, C is 48 years old.
now when they got married the ratio was 7:5
say they got married x years ago.

60-x / 48-x =(7/5)
solving this we get x = 18
so when they got married, A was 42 and C was 30 years old.

A. 18
B. 30
C. 36
D. 42
E. 48

In age problems, the age DIFFERENCE between two people never changes.

Step 1: Find current ages
Let Adrien's current age = 5x and Camille's current age = 4x

In 6 years:
- Adrien will be 5x + 6
- Camille will be 4x + 6

We're told this ratio equals 11:9:

(5x + 6)/(4x + 6) = 11/9

Cross multiply:
9(5x + 6) = 11(4x + 6)
45x + 54 = 44x + 66
x = 12

Current ages:
- Adrien = 5(12) = 60 years
- Camille = 4(12) = 48 years

Step 2: Find ages at marriage
The age difference is 60 - 48 = 12 years. This difference NEVER changes - not now, not in the future, not in the past.

At marriage, the ratio was 7:5.
Let Adrien's age at marriage = 7y and Camille's = 5y

The difference must still be 12:
7y - 5y = 12
2y = 12
y = 6

Camille's age at marriage = 5(6) = 30 years
