Hi Guys,
I work at a large financial services firm in NYC and have just been offered a position to relocate to an eastern European country to manage a global project. I wanted to know how much of an impact would working in Europe will have on my application? My target schools are LBS, Said, Cambridge, HEC, INSEAD, IESE, Columbia and NYU.
Some background about me-
Under grad - Comp Sci - GPA- 3.6
Grad - Information Systems- 3.45
Associate Professional Risk Manager Certification
GMAT - 640 (Planning on taking it again)
Work Exp- Financial Services - 4 yrs
Although I am trained as an engineer, I have transitioned from technology to Risk Management.
How much of an experience working in Europe help in terms of admission to my target schools? One of the main reasons I am considering to move is the potential impact this will have on my application and I would really appreciate any insight in this matter.
Thanks!
