Hello JackSparr0w,

Thanks for the kind words !!! I think I can do better on verbal part.

Hello EMPOWERgmatRichC,

I was hoping and wishing for your reply ,and I am glad that I got it !!! Always find some kind of positive energy radiating from your posts , and I feel inspired to do better. Thanks !!

So, coming to your question:
1) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
I am targeting to get admit into the Business School on 2016. So basically have to start preparing my applications from now.

2) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
I am targeting ISB or NUS (I know I am getting bit ambitious considering my score but I would love to be part of these schools)
I am having 4 years of IT experience (non-technical) and acting as backup lead in my project.

I am considering to take GMAT again since I think I can improve on verbal part. But, the main problem is that I have exhausted all my resources mainly mock tests. So, please suggest whether I shall try for one more time and if yes, then plz recommend me some material.

Meanwhile, the quote about assassins is great too !!

Hi karant,

Can you list out the exact resources that you used during your studies? Also, would you be thinking about retesting as soon as possible (in a month of so)? Thankfully, there are plenty of GMAT resources that you can use to continue your studies, so we just have to find the one(s) that will help you to pick up those missing points.

Hi karant,

While it might be tempting to assume that taking lots of practice CATs will help you, doing so is NOT the solution to your situation. Your missing points come down to 'precision' and tactics - you missed just enough questions on Test Day (likely due to little/silly mistakes) that a 700+ score became a 680. So you need the proper repetitions and maybe a slight adjustment to your overall approach to the Test. Investing in some new practice materials might help.

As far as CATs are concerned, you should plan to take 1 CAT/week. There are plenty of reputable CATs that you don't appear to have used yet. Did you use the 4 Official GMAC CATs? I'm going to assume that you used at least the two free ones, but there are the other 2 that you can purchase. Beyond those, the CATs from MGMAT and Kaplan are fine for your purposes.

I think 680 is a very good score and you shouldn't bother retaking. Congratulations btw!
