I'm currently a Project Manager at a non-profit Foundation (we are funders). I'm interested in moving over to a career in Product/Brand Management and am also very interested in getting an MBA to do this. Problem is, my GMAT and GRE scores haven't been very good. I took the GMAT 3 times and the GRE once. Through having some results with better quant scores and other results with better verbal scores my GMAT high score is 550 (I understand this is quite a hindrance). On the GRE I received a 157 in the verbal section and 150 in the quantitative section.

I'm wondering if anyone can suggest MBA programs that I may have a shot at getting into that may help me move into Product Management. MY GPA for undergrad is 2.98. I've been in the workforce for 7 years with a background in project management and political campaign management.

Any suggestions and advice are appreciated.

Hi DCCane10- so here is an ETS tool that converts your GRE to GMAT: https://www.ets.org/gre/institutions/ab ... rison_tool and it looks like the GRE is only 510. However, I think it still may be a better strategy to use the GRE as that seems to fly a bit more under the radar. I would look at some programs that are solid- but had a bit of a pr issue last year in that they almost shut down- but didn't and really are strong in marketing. Wisconsin comes to mind- they may get less applicants next year- and yet they are an excellent program for MBA and in particular marketing. I also would look at the programs in the top 30-50 range- see if you can find a fit- don't give up! I think if you can put in some good research and reflection and look at programs where you are not too far off the averages- you could be successful in getting an MBA even with those scores. Best wishes to you!

Wisconsin is actually my first choice. I'll probably apply there as a reach school. Thanks for the encouraging words.
