After carefully reviewing the results, Zeigarnik ascribed her finding, that people better remember tasks that have not yet been completed compared to ones that have been, to be the product of the tendency of the mind to want to complete a task in order to move on, and to be willing to work harder to do so.

A) Zeigarnik ascribed her finding, that people better remember tasks that have not yet been completed compared to ones that have been, to be the product of the tendency -> We have right modifier in place. But, why do we say "to be the product of the tendency". Ascribed X to Y is the idiom. This idiom form is not adhered here. Incorrect.

B) Zeigarnik ascribed her finding, that people better remember tasks that have not yet been completed compared to ones that have been, to be from the tendency -> We need someone to modify, "After carefully reviewing the results". There is no modifier error. But, Idiom form is still incorrect. Incorrect.

C) Zeigarnik ascribed her finding, that people better remember tasks that have not yet been completed compared to ones that have been, to the tendency -> Let's re-read it. Ms. Zeigarnik ascribed her finding to the tendency.... and to be willing.... This is better than A and B both. Let's keep it.

D) Zeigarnik's finding, that people better remember tasks that have not yet been completed compared to ones that have been, was ascribed to have been the product of the tendency -> Modifier error, Zeigarnik's finding can not modify "After carefully reviewing the results". Incorrect.

E) Zeigarnik's finding, that people better remember tasks that have not yet been completed compared to ones that have been, to the tendency -> Same error as D. Incorrect.

So, I think C. :)
