Hi All,
I am preparing for my GMAT and preparing 2019 Intake. Next year I will be completing 35 in June with 8.5 years of Work Exp in total next year. How challenging is the age for a Top B School Admission. I focus on Indian B Schools like ISB, IIM A, IIMB, C on priority. Also I heard European B Schools are more flexible and doesn't look Age as a limitation.
Please suggest as How an applicants Age could be a bar or limitation in terms of Admission and placements further and which schools I should focus on with 8.5 work Ex & Age 35 for a Full time 1 Year Global/ Indian MBA Schools.

No matter your age MBA programs will expect you to clearly articulate why right now is the ideal time to pursue and MBA. Now for younger and older applicants the need for explanation is more pronounced. In your situation you will need to make it clear what an MBA can offer you at this stage of your career as well as what you could uniquely bring to the table as an older applicant. Many struggle to do this effectively which things tougher for older applicants because schools have less to offer their career. Given the competition at American schools they tend to be tougher in this regard but all schools will require the same clarity
