Warehouse A contains three times as many widgets as does warehouse B
Lets warehouse is B
the A warehouse will have 3B widgets
If 1/15 of the widgets in warehouse A and 1/20 of the widgets in warehouse B are defective
B/5+B/20
Not defective will be
4B-(B/5+B/20)=15B/4
fraction of all the widgets are NOT defective
15B/4*4B=15/16
Hence option C is correct

Warehouse A contains Three times as Warehouse B
A = 3*B
The ratio of A : B = 3 : 1
Since the fraction in the question contains 15 and 20. Let’s multiply by 20.
A : B = 60 : 20
Defective Widgets =
A = (1/15)*60 = 4
B = (1/20)*20 = 1
Fraction of Non Defective Widgets = 1 - (fraction of Defective Widgets)
= 1 - (5/80)
= 1 - (1/16)
= 15/16
