Hi everyone,
My company agreed to pay for my mba (yay!) if I go to a part-time program (I applied to Booth, Haas, Anderson), but I also decided to apply to a few full-time programs just in case (GSB, Columbia, Sloan and Tuck). I applied January round for all the schools, but shortly after I submitted my application to Booth's Part-Time program, I heard back, they set up an interview immediately and 4 days later I got the acceptance!
I am thrilled because I love Booth, the fit is great and my company would pay for it...but I won't hear about the other schools until end of March/early April. Booth asked me to respond to the acceptance by Feb 23rd (10 days after they told me), but they said that if I need an extension they will give it to me. Is it alright to ask to extend the date until early April? I loved Booth and really think it would be a great fit, but I want to make an informed decision about this major life choice. Does anyone have any advice for going about this?

if they offered an extension take them at their word. It still may not be enough time for your ultimate informed decision but I would explore the extension if you are confident this is a genuine offer which it should be
