Using POE,
Eliminate Option A, it misses out on the usage of 'refers'.
Eliminate Option B, the noun form 'satisfaction' is not correctly used here.
Eliminate Option C, 'referring' is not required here.
D seems fine, let's keep it!
Eliminate Option E, 'consuming of' is not a correct usage, it should be replaced by 'consumption of', which makes more sense.

Option D stands out!
