(B) is the correct choice in my opinion. Lets see what the OA is.
"now" is common in all the choices, so that gives us a hint that the sentence should be written in "Simple present tense", so on that basis alone you can safely get rid of (A), (C), and (D).
Between (B) and (E), (E) is incorrect for its usage of "but". As "although" is already used as "subordinating conjunction" at the start of the opening dependent clause, there is no need of "but", so on the basis of "redundancy" we can safely put (E) into the bin and choose option choice "B" as the answer.
