We are given relation between Carlos and two others => C>B and C>E
Nothing about D and A.
Let us see the options.
1) Amanda is heavier than David and Bruce.
A>D and A>B...We can just say that either A or C is heaviest and one of the three, B, C & E, is lightest.
2) Amanda is heavier than Carlos.
A>C, so A>C>B and A>C>E
Thus, either A or D is heaviest and one of the two, B and C, is the lightest.
3) David is lighter than both Bruce and Eva.
B>D and E>D, so C>B,E>D
A could be anywhere.
4) Amanda is heavier than David and Carlos.
A>D and A>C. We also know that C>B and C>E.
Thus, A>(D,C)>(B,E)
So, A is surely the heaviest.
5) Eva is heavier than only Bruce.
E>B>(no one).
Thus B is the lightest
Ans: 4 and 5
