hey guys
I am new at gmatclub

I have sub my appli on Dec 20 and my official transcripts have not been received by them. Not to go in details, it got misplaced somewhere.
Now I called them and they are asking to send in another copy. I have send them now.

What do you think will they consider me for Round 2 or should I consider it a shut case. :(

Hi Varun. Dont sweat it. McCombs has a rolling admissions process. So the deadlines are just indicative and not rigid so to speak. Just send them a new copy asap. As I have seen in this forum, the application process with McCombs is random. Some people have even got invites before paying their application fee. So just complete the formalities, sit back and hope all goes well....

I asked Mccombs whether interview calls are given only after receiving the official transcript. They were uncertain on this.

Yes, R2 applicants have started receiving interview calls. The point is whether international R2 applicants have got them.

Also, for those wondering, I called last week about my application and they were super nice about it and let me know where I was in the process.

What did they tell you?

I was just told that it would be up to 4 weeks before a decision when I emailed them last week. (I interviewed in mid-December)

I'm a R2 international applicant living in the US and got my interview a 5 days after I submitted my application. And this was before I paid and before they received my official transcripts.

They told me that my app was in next week's pile (this was last week.) Caveat being that I also had a question on another part of my profile. Did they mean an additional four weeks or four weeks from when you were interviewed? I wouldn't be too worried, since they were OOO for two weeks for xmas. Sounds like you just got an admin or someone with a stock answer.

Hmm... I just called admissions to check on my application status (I applied 10/22, paid my fee 10/25 and interviewed on 12/2). Without asking for my name or ID, they referred me to the website to check my status and told me that a decision could take 10-12 weeks from the interview.
