Quick question for anyone that has interviewed at McCombs. I need to go to Texas anyway, and was planning to build in an extra day on Friday to do the Texas info session. Do you know if they do interviews on Friday, or are they just on certain days? If by some miracle I get an interview invite before I go, I would like to try to interview on campus. Thanks!

any idea how long after interview applicants are notified of a decision...can admits share their experience here? i just completed my mccombs interview and thought it went well.

I interviewed 11/22 and was notified 12/17 that I got in. What that means for you, I have no idea. Maybe keep your Valentine's Day free. :)

Has anyone received an offer letter or scholarship info?

I also interviewed on 11/22 and received the admit call on 1/4. Hope this helps!

I got the admit call on 12/17 as well, received offer letter in mail on Monday, but no other documents (i.e. the flash drive with program info) were included with it. No word on scholarship either.

Has anyone already received a R2 interview? I know I'm jumping the gun here since it hasn't even been a week since the R2 deadline, but I'm just wondering if they have quick turnaround. Good luck to all! Hook 'em horns! :)

Yep, I received my interview email about a week after applying. My application went in a couple of days before the deadline. I imagine they are still plowing through all of the apps that were submitted the day of the deadline. What day did you submit?

Again, I think I got lucky and talked to someone on the adcom who must have been in a good mood as opposed to an admin that prob fields one of those calls a day.

Has anyone admitted asked for an offer of scholarship sooner, because of another school's deadline?

I had applied in R1 and was interviewed on 11/30. Haven't heard anything since then. Have any international applicants gotten admit calls?

lol...relax man...not having a fixed deadline for the various stages of the application does make it sound disorganized...but im sure they would be having some solid system for all this...i wish they were more outreaching like the ross admission director for example...her blogs are soooooo helpful in the entire process...

Their actual application is pretty screwy, too. The multiple status checks, the requirement of sending official transcripts to another part of the university, and the delay before they accept payment add up.

Then, once I received an interview invite, I had to contact 6 alumni, including one that explicitly said they weren't interviewing before finding one that would even reply. And the person I interviewed scheduled it over his lunch break, showed up late, and had to cut the interview short because he had to get back to work.

On top of that, I'm still looking at the decision taking up to 14 weeks from when I submitted my application, and 9 weeks after my interview. (granted, there's 2 weeks for a holiday, but that's still bad).

I realize a rolling admissions process adds some complications, but it's still been a very frustrating experience.
