Hello Stacy
I am an Indian engineering male working for last 4 years in various roles for a Power Generation & Mining company in India.
My short term goal is to move into management consulting Domain after MBA.
GMAT: 730
I have applied to Fuqua, MIT Sloan, and Cornell in Round 1, and have already been interviewed by Fuqua for EA.
Considering, to apply to Darden, emory, & UNC in Round 2.
But certain changes have transpired in my career. I have received an offer from PwC for a senior consultant role
in Utilities & Mining Division. Though I have decided to join them next month, I am getting confused on how to
present this to admission committees.
Should I send email regarding this move to the schools I have already applied? will it strengthen or
weaken my applications? Do I need to explain the move?
Should I reshape my goals as I have now achieved my goal of moving into consultancy w/o MBA?
Will this be considered unethical because I knew that I'll have to leave the company for an MBA school in less than a year?
