Hi,

I was wondering the 5 schools that we submit at the time of writing gmat, what is the use of it?
For ex: one of the school I selected was WP Carey. Now when I am filling up the application for it, I am still filling up my scores, still uploading the score card and still paying for the application fees.

So what is the use of selecting 5 schools at the time of giving gmat?

Hi @jainrishi

You are supposed to pay a certain sum of money in order to send the scores to any school... While writing GMAT you can give names of upto 5 schools you want to send your scores to. These scores would reach these schools free of cost...

jainrishi,

Welcome to GMATClub!

When you report the scores alongside your application, that's just one step!
The report is unverified. These scores need to be verified by GMAC.

Basically, every school requires an official(the one that GMAC sends directly to the school) GMAT transcript
as a confirmation of your self-reported (the one you report to the school through the online application) score.

Hope that helps!
