Just got offers from two great schools which I applied for in round 2.
My preferred school I missed the round 2 deadline, so I'm thinking of applying round 3.

Unfortunately, I need to submit a decision for these two schools by end of April, however the preferred school's round 3 offers go out in May.

Any thoughts? Is this OK to do? Will I loose despot money? etc

I think there may not be much you can do. If you are not sure you have another option--you should deposit at one of your options. The school I am sure would prefer that you then enroll there. However, if you do get a round 3 offer and want to change-- I think that is why the deposit exists. There needs to be a monetary reason why people will not just accept everywhere and then not enroll. So if you do change- I don't see how you will get your deposit back at the school that you accepted. Best wishes with this-- and congrats on having choices!
