Solid profile - GMAT is good, experience is good, goals make sense - Everything aligns - to get in M7 - you’ll need a compelling story/narrative, connecting you to each school.
ECs are the only area I’m seeing some room for improvement

Any room for profile building further, aiming for September Deadlines this year. Also, please help with chances of scholarships at respective school, and whether a GMAT retake would add greater weight compared to time spent on co-curriculars in the next few months.

Hi, I had a few queries on ECs.
Do we look at ECs from having a significant achievement’s perspective, or is it why one got inclined towards those ECs?
Also, I believe this is something you invest your time into over the years, and even if someone starts investing more time into ECs let’s say to have a touch of ECs in their profile, won’t it give an impression of an abrupt change?

+1, would engaging in more ECs starting now look like that it was done only for applications given the timelines?

GMAT is OK for your list - scholarship is typically tied to parts of app that can increase school stats - higher GMAT than average - INSEAD, HEC, Oxford/Cambridge, Tepper, McCombs - can add some scholarship; ex-FAANG could add too. I’d spend time on co-curriculars/networking to have strong stories for the schools.

EC’s and the MBA Application ---- They help the school see what is important to you (subject/focus) and how you will likely get involved in their program --- also gives you a connection to discuss joining a specific club/activity.
Should you start a brand new one right now? Not exactly -
I suggest making sure it connects with what you’ve done previously or are passionate about or an expert at ---- coaching badminton, tutoring, debate = toastmasters, or get involved in service with your current company

Good profile - adcoms understand civil service is hard to crack in India. Without GMAT, here is my feedback on school list -
INSEAD will be looking for pre-MBA international experience - think of any vendors/clients/ teams that have had an international component or worked with someone from a different culture.
Rotamn - even though you have 7 years of experience, they tend to keep a younger cohort - so may be tough to crack
For both of these schools, I recommend trying to get a profile review or have a conversation with someone from the admissions team in one of their chats/online MBA fairs
Other schools seem well aligned.

This is why I recommend doing something that is related to or continuous of what you’ve already done. AMEX typically has many community involvement opps, use these to boost your ECs. Or maybe try to ’advise’ the debate team from your school or a local school... or join/lead toastmasters

if your CGPA 7.95 is out of 10, then I’d try to aim for 675.
I know that with in some instances, this can still be in the top 5-10% - if it is, make sure you articulate this on your resume - simply write "top X%" and then when they see your CGPA in the app form they will already understand.
