72 kilometers in 60 mins, there are 60*60 = 3600 secs in 60 mins, so distance travelled in one second = 72/3600 = 2/100 = 0.02. (A).

The number is in km per hour but answer asked is in km per second...
So 72 km per hour = \(\frac{72}{60*60}=\frac{72}{36*100}=\frac{2}{100}=0.02\)
A
