I'm planning on applying to Baruch for the part time MS program in Marketing. Just took the GMAT and am trying to evaluate whether it's worth taking it again. My verbal was very high, but unfortunately my quant was much lower than I had expected.
Total Score: 620 (70%)
Quant: 31 (31%)
Verbal: 42 (95%)
Boston University Graduated 2009 in Economics GPA 3.4
My main work experience is about a year and a half at a market research provider as a Research Analyst - before that I have various internships in banking, research, and marketing. I plan on continuing a career in market research, and wish to take statistical classes related to the field alongside the standard marketing courses at Baruch.
Looking at my total score compared to the Baruch's mid 80% range (510-710) I seem fine. My job is very quantitative and I have some advanced quantitative economics courses under my belt, but I'm a bit worried about my low quant score. My practice quant scores were as high as 41, I'm just not sure if it's worth the time, money, and risk of taking the gmat again.
