Dear
Berlin77,
I am really sorry to hear about our experience. Sometimes “life happens” and we are not able to get the desired results. You should not think about the last attempt and approach the next one with a positive mindset.
It is very much possible to score a 700 if you prepare using a structured and methodical approach. A student should know how to apply the learned concepts properly to ace the GMAT. In the actual exam, tricks and shortcuts tend to fail and students with a proper approach to the questions succeed. This is what we do at
e-GMAT. We teach our students a foolproof process to solve questions and make them follow the same.
We have helped a lot of non-natives ace the GMAT. Here are a few examples of folks who were in your shoes:
- Learn how Nikhil, improved from V19 (19 percentile) to V38 (85 percentile). In the interview, Nikhil articulates his struggles, outlining what worked for him and how was he able to finally improve to V38:

GMAT Planner to finalize the ability scores you need to achieve:
https://gmatplanner.e-gmat.com/2) Go through the recording of our
GMAT Strategy Session 1 to understand how you should go about your preparation:
https://bit.ly/1reNWgq. This session will help you define you GMAT strategy and create your own study plan. I have also attached the session PDF with this post.
3) You need to improve both your Quant and Verbal scores to reach a 700 and I would recommend you prepare using a proper course.
Create a multi step study plan to achieve your target score. Evaluate your improvement at every step using
Scholaranium:
https://e-gmat.com/blogs/fine-tune-your-preparation/. Make sure that you have reached your target ability.
5) Finally take a few mock tests to confirm that you have actually improved.
I hope the above helps. Feel free to ask any questions you have.
Regards,
Rajat Sadana
