I want to enroll in an online GMAT prep course. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations.

Need to improve score from 600.

I have read reviews on Magoosh and VeritasPrep on demand. Some say its good, and others have said it only has basic information on it. Thanks

Hi
There are lots of online prep companies. Some have very good reviews on the Gmatclub such as Egmat, Empowergmat, Economistgmat. But, ensure to take a free trial before you enroll in any of them to make sure you are satisfied with their teaching methodology.
All the best.

Hi SarjitSingh,

Before you decide on a prep course, it may be a good idea to take an official GMAT practice exam. The results of that exam will give you a bird’s-eye view of your strengths and weaknesses, and indicate how far you are from your score goal.

Once you complete the exam, feel free to report back here, and I can provide some further advice.

Also, check out some of the success stories of past GMAT students as well as reviews of various GMAT prep courses to see what prep materials have worked for other test-takers.

Lastly, you may find it helpful to read this article about
how to score a 700+ on the GMAT.

Feel free to reach out with further questions.

Hi SarjitSingh

IMO the best budgeted courses are

1. e-GMAT

Review: https://gmatclub.com/reviews/e-gmat-6?fl=menu

2. Empower GMAT

Review: https://gmatclub.com/reviews/empowergma ... 51?fl=menu

3. Math Revolution (Only Math)

Review: https://gmatclub.com/reviews/math-revol ... 60?fl=menu

Read the reviews before you decide

Happy Prep.

Each course takes a slightly different approach - and what works for one person may not work for you. So explore around to see which approach resonates with you.

We take a "thought process" approach - with expert demonstration videos that show the thinking process that goes on in an expert's head as they think through a test question.

We also look at many variations on a core concept. For example, you may be tested on distance = rate * time with 2 trains moving. But what if 2 trains are not moving in the same direction - instead they are moving in opposite directions? What if one starts first before the other? What if one is moving north and the other one is moving east --- or maybe at an angle, thus forming a triangle?

So we cover the core concept - but also provide sufficient practice around that so you know the possibilities of what can be tested.

Here is a Google Sheet with links to OG SC video explanations showcasing our style:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

This is a great resource from which to practice and also to hear an expert's perspective when thinking through test questions.
