To be honest, I don’t think there are better resources to practice non-match based DS outside the OG Guide and DI Review Guide questions. In fact, there are some debatable OG questions in this segment, as many experts have differed from the official answers because of conditional uncertainty. My advice would be to go through all of these questions carefully and notice the common patterns.

Beyond that, as others have rightly pointed out, getting better at verbal reasoning, especially assumption-family questions, will help you spot loopholes in the given statements. So focus on developing strong reasoning skills and try to anticipate the assumptions. You might end up arriving at the right choice more consistently.

I am struggling with answering text based data sufficiency questions. What are the best resources to specifically target these type of questions?

Use GMAT club filter to identify non-math questions and practice them well. Official questions should be preferred for the practice as most questions offerred by other companies are not as good practice and are sometimes biased by the logic that companies intend to pitch to the learners.
