In addition to DogGoesWoof 's recommendation, I would encourage you to check our admission trend analysis of these schools to get better understanding of how these schools evaluate candidates, how much GMAT score is considered good, how much weight other application components carry, or which applicants profiles are favored by these schools, etc.

As per my understanding the three top schools for a case based method would be HBS, Tuck and Darden.

Given that these are all in the top 15 as per most rankings, I'd recommend to target a higher GMAT score, say 740-750. A 710 will not be an obstacle, but it doesn't hurt to have a 740 :D

Also GMAT isn't the only factor in admissions, so I encourage you to do your research and decide based on your profile, goals and fit with the schools.

Thanks!

Harvard is the best school for MBA because it is indeed number one when it comes to case study teaching, estimating that 80% of all the teaching over the two-year program is delivered via cases. This is despite recent curriculum changes that for the first time diminished the amount of learning provided through cases.

Thanks for the replies..
Now I am thinking of European schools as well. Is it safe to have INSEAD, LBS and IESE on case based school list?

I can't speak for other schools but as an Ivey Alum, I can assure you that Ivey has 100% case based teaching approach. I have enjoyed this pedagogy so much that I can never go back to old lecture system. We did a lot of Harvard cases but thats just because they have been producing cases for a very long time now.
Depends on your goals but it is safe to say you can't go wrong with Ivey.

Hello, I would also like to choose an MBA school, but I do not understand why everyone appreciates it so much. Could you share your experience with me?
