Good afternoon,
I hope everyone had a great fathers day. I wanted to get some advice regarding the GMAT Practice Test.
After studying for over a year, yesterday i took an official GMAT practice test from Exam Pack 5&6 and scored a 560. I was saving the last 4 practice tests (Exam Pack 5&6) before i took my official test. However i had been taking practice tests from GMAT Prep 1 & 2 and scoring consistently in the high 600's and even had two scores of 740 and 770, although those had some repeat questions. I'm very demotivated and don't know what happened. I was thinking about taking the official test within the next month but am not so sure anymore what to do. Any advice would be appreciated.

What were the conditions like for your 560 test? Some conditions that could cause you to bomb a practice test (and that I have experienced myself): being distracted by others in your house, taking the test in multiple sittings, taking the test when you're exhausted / not in the right headspace, etc.
If you've been studying that much and have done well on multiple practice tests, I wouldn't weight that 560 too heavily. Matter of fact, I'd review the questions thoroughly, and then act like it never happened.
Also, I would be inclined to pull the trigger and take an official test sooner rather than later. This will give you a true sense of how well you've prepared, and if you don't do well, then you'll at least know where you stand so that you can take it again and improve.

Thanks for you're reply. It's nice to get an outside perspective especially from someone who can relate.
I noticed i missed some easy questions on the test that i would normally get correct. Additionally i messed up the RC on Verbal section and fell behind on the reading. Although the easier CR/SC questions seemed a little more than normal. Perhaps i need more practice.
I'm thinking along the same lines. Review the questions thoroughly and then perhaps take another official test and see if i can do a little bit better.
Conditions: Maybe a little bit exhausted. I did have an espresso shot before the test, which i normally do in the past. I also think i had a bad start. Missed some easy questions at the beginning and then couldn't get on track.
