For stats purposes, I got the call yesterday around 10AM CST - I am living in South Africa, but they assumed I was still in Dallas. In, with scholarship. My friend got off the waitlist from R1 and got his call around 3pm CST FYI

I got the call at 4:28 PM EST. East coast. My speculation is each admissions person has a call list and goes through it by region and then by alphabet by last name. Additionally, I think once they start on a region they may bounce around as long as the hours are waking hours (e.g. a call may go to west coast then east coast back to west coast as long as the last name is in order by alphabet). My last name is close to the end of the alphabet.
Got a scholarship as well so I don't think the timing of the calls has anything to do with whether you get a scholarship.

Hey all,
I'm a second-year student at Booth, and I just wanted to add my congratulations to all those who have been admitted over the past couple of days, and to wish good luck to all those who are still hoping for good news!
For those of you who received $, is it mentioned in your decision letter? They didn't mention it to me on the phone, but I was still hoping... (as Wharton didn't mention it on the phone but had it in the decision letter).
Ding for me. Booth was my top choice, but Wharton takes the sting out for sure. I would actually prefer to be dinged than WL'd, that's a hard call for you guys to make having been admitted to some other really great programs. good luck!

It was mentioned on my call but not in the decision letter...
Waitlisted. Huh. I'm really confused on what to feel. I was all mentally prepared last night to go to Stern, and this is definitely a curve ball.
I am not sure how I should approach this decision. As an international student, I know I don't have time to wait forever (application for the visa, travel to the consulate/home country, etc), since this is R2. Any insights?
