I submitted it on Jan 6th. But I doubt they worked last week, so the time starts counting from today.

By the way, how many interviews do they have? and are they with alumni or admission staff?

I had my interview with an alumnus and this was coordinated by the IE office in Mexico. If there's an IE office in your country, I think they coordinate your interview. I've heard of people having their interview on the phone with an admissions person when there is no IE office in their country/city. BTW, I only had one interview, and then its another month till you get your acceptance letter.

In Spain christmas is a very important holiday. Although most companies remain open most days, it's probably that at IE staff took some days off. Thus, instead of counting 3 weeks it would be better to count only 1.

had my interview today... phone interview with a lady from the admissions office in Mexico City... really nice interview, talked in english and also a bit in french (unusual)

turns out we went to the same undergrad. at the end, she told that I had a pretty strong profile and that she would endorse my candidacy.

I did not receive any confirmation about the supporting documents, only about the submission of the application.

Anyway, as admissions are rolling I guess that in case anything is missing they would get to you to ask you for the missing documents.

Also, you can email them and ask them explicitly. If you do so, let us know.

Well, I didn't receive any confirmation at all - neither about the supporting documents nor about the application itself. Just to make sure, I emailed them to see if my application was received properly. I will let you know when I get an answer.

Hi folks,

I applied in late october, had my interview on december 6th but I haven't heard anything about my application status since then. I would email them. First because there is not a deadline to wait for and additionally you could have been offered a place somewhere else.

Hi,

Everyone says that if you are prepared for the GMAT you will be okay with the IE test, but I wonder if there are any additional tips or suggestions on preparation. I have studied for the GMAT, but want to target my focus on the type of quantitative questions likely to be presented in the IE test.

Hi Angela!

I took the IE test in october. There are two main kinds of questions: First, they'll give you a text to read, mainly about a given situation in a company, giving you some numbers, etc, and then some questions related to that text. I found these questions pretty simple. The second kinds of questions can be a little tricky, but if you understand the mechanics its the easiest part of the test. They will show you a flux diagram in which you have to interpret symbols. The idea is that you understand what each symbol means in the flux diagram to understand what they are asking. I don't know if I'm being clear about these types of questions (it's kind of hard to explain without a piece of paper and a pen :s), but you can ask me and I'll try to explain better... ;)

Yes me!
you should receive an official Offer letter including all details. Basically, u have to pay a certain fee (within a month as i remember) to reserve your place at the program. In case u miss the deadline, you won't lose your place! u can pay this fee and book your place at any time as long as there are empty seats... which i think is "always"!

In case any of you were wondering, I didn't get any email confirming that my application was received. To be on the safe side, I emailed them, and they assured me that it arrived just fine.
I was particularly worried that my application hasn't arrived since I applied using their "topApply" option, which is no longer available. It seems that they no longer work with "topApply", but applications that already started using "topApply" are still accepted.
