Hi Guys...How much time does it take to get the reply from FGSR for final confirmation?? I got the mail from Charlene confirming the name sent to FGSR and does they reject at this stage ??

I can't put my finger on the exact reason. But probably the low GPA was the deciding factor.

Hey daman8

I have already replied in this link to someone before.
From my experience of the Alberta page in the forum in the past 2 years,
if your application has been forwarded to FGSR, it is as good as getting an admit!

While the first Kira video interview is offered to almost all applicants with minimum requirements, congrats for getting one nonetheless. Unless someone from AdCom chimes in, it is impossible to know the percentage who get the second interview from the first Kira interviews (and I wouldn't worry about that statistic). I would urge you to not be nervous at all and just be as honest as you can and be yourself. Both the Kira and the 2nd interviews are behavioral in nature and there is no "right" or "wrong" answer. It's all about how you package your response and sell your idea(s) to the interviewer. The more genuine you are, the more confident you look and sound, and the more attractive you are as a potential candidate.

Congrats!! Any entrance award? Was the offer conditional on anything like submission of original transcripts directly from your previous institution?

I got an offer as well last week, conditional upon receipt of my original transcripts from my previous school. It had no entrance award offered. However I contacted the admissions team and I was to told stay tuned as the office is still sorting out specific details on entrance awards.

SarishmaChoudary, are you taking up the offer at UAlberta?
