I have not officially decided to apply but one of my fellow managers went to Michigan and has almost convinced me to apply. From everything I have read they have pretty decent placement in IB. Not sure how good they are for real estate IB though. 710 GMAT 3.6 GPA blah, blah, blah...we are all great in our own ways. Well I will be surprised if they release them on 11/21 (the day before Thanksgiving is 'almost' a holiday in most places). But I think there is some hope that we get it today or tomorrow

Have just passed a phone interview. Preparation is all! Had the list of questions from interview debriefs and points for my answer for every question.
The interview was rather standard. 2Y student.
He started with short information about the interview structure and then he asked
- Why do I need MBA?
then we moved on to talk
- Why Ross?
he noted that I visited already University of Michigan, I told about my experience of working in team from Ross for MAP project, we found out that one of the students I worked with is known to both of us

and moved on to
- Have I ever worked in team
- Did I have any challenges in team-work, what were the challenges and what did I do with them?
after telling a story that I couldn't recall at my first interview he asked
Did I receive any tough feedback
- There are many clubs in Ross, how would I contribute?
talked about clubs I'm interested in, my hobby
- Is there any additional information I would like to share?
- Do I have any questions for him?
after the questions we have thanked and wished a nice day to each other.

pros:
- talked about all the main points I wanted to
cons:
- have to continue working with my voice to keep it at good strength during interviews and presentations

Overall, everything was very nice and friendly.

No invites have been reported today. I guess some invites will come out before thanks giving, either tomorrow or on 11/21 . Otherwise, I cant see how the admissions office will manage interview invitations, scheduling, actual interviews, and final decision making - all before 01/16.

I don't think that is true. Berkeley for instance interviews candidates one week before the decision deadline.

clobo, I never said that all the invites will be sent by 11/21. I simply said that some invites should be out before thanksgiving.

I don't think that is true. Berkeley for instance interviews candidates one week before the decision deadline.

In any case, all schools claim to do this. But in reality, thats usually just one or two candidates who are marginal decisions who may get called at the last minute. Most invites should be out by 1st or 2nd week of December.

We all could use a little more polish!

I am going through what you are going through: questioning if I could have done better if I did something differently. The truth is now the decision process is out of our control and we just need to keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.

If I remember this right, all invitees on 11/8 were asked to interview on or before 11/21. If that is the case, some invites need to be out tomorrow for Monday to be a fruitful day for the ad-coms from an interview stand point. Or Ross may decide not to interview anyone early next week.

This wait is definitely not good for my heart! I am so envious of my friends who are blissfully ignorant about this whole B-school process. Sigh!

Got an e-mail today stating that my application is complete and that no further action is required on my part. It also states that I will be contacted approximately two weeks before the January deadline with instructions on how to access the admission decision.

I had submitted my app. on 11/1,
I just got an email saying my app is complete and now under review.
Looks like they are working today.....
I've grown ever desperate and nervous after my CBS ding earlier today.
