I wonder if rhyme is still allowing new applicants to take him out for lunch for one-on-one Ask Anything about Booth Session......He did graduate from Booth this year... :-D

I don't think a lunch will do anymore. He's a dad now, I think he only accepts bribes in the form of diapers and baby formula now.

I think its just HBS; they did the same thing last year, if I recall correctly. The other schools should be releasing their questions around the same time that they did last year.

Ahhh, they're making me feel like I'm behind already...I hope they don't come out for awhile, I'd like to keep some of my sanity for a couple more months.

I'm even further behind, I still have my GMAT to go...and probably not ready until mid July...however I am planning to rush through the process to get HBS, S and W in R1 at least...

Message from Yale SOM for Class of 2012 Applicants

https://mba.yale.edu/news_events/CMS/articles/6861.shtml

Also, some video from Yale Faculty Research Speaker Series. I had not had the time to visit Yale som, I know these special topics are much different than what you will see in a regular class room, but they are never the less interesting.

Enjoy! https://mba.yale.edu/news_events/lecture ... shtml#chen

Prof. Keith Chen's video is a good one.

Breaking news from HBS

"Beginning with the class of 2012, HBS will accept both GMAT and GRE results. We think that both tests will provide adequate metrics of what a standardized test can tell us about a candidate. It will take a while for us to do a complete update of every reference to these tests on our website — in the meantime, please accept this as official notification of this change."

Is this a sign for the changes to come? Will other school soon to follow?

That's really interesting, I wonder what that means for the new GMAT format. Will they have to adjust to keep getting the GRE takers if this policy broadens?

I think GMAT is only available in 100 countries compared to 150 offered for GRE. Maybe school wants a little bit more diversity.

This is very interesting! I wonder, why? Why GRE now..this only means more applications, from the IT folks.

What if someone attempts both GRE & GMAT, will the higest be considered...hmm. I think even if they want to implement this, its a very short notice.

Should we ask Harvard to write an essay "why GRE, why now? How would GRE help you with your short term and long term goals?" :-D
