I think it went "Under Review" on January 20th.

Question: I only have one interviewer available in my area (Cleveland, OH - go figure), however, he is unable to meet with me until March 8th. Should I just opt for a phone interview to complete it quicker? I feel as though a face-to-face interview would be far more beneficial for me though. I tend to come off sounding like Ben Stein on the phone.

Marcus7,

If you think that you will do alot better in a physical interview you should not take the rist of conducting a phone interview.

OR

Can you travel to NY or and big city where a CBS Alum can interview you sooner.

Just make sure your interviewer completes your assesment ASAP after the interview.

Good Luck. Carlitos.

Has anyone who interviewed at the March 13 Super Saturday heard a decision?

I am getting anxious...

Also, I've seen mixed things, is the norm for Columbia to call or email that status has been updated?

Assuming you mean the February 13 Super Saturday, then my answer is Nope. My interview was complete within 48 hours but that was only like 9 days ago and I think they've started taking their sweet time (~2 weeks, sometimes more) before rendering final decisions. Think of how many interviews they have to process from that one day alone.

Wonder if I saw you there!

It's been 4 weeks since my interview and 3 weeks since my application went complete. Anyone else been waiting this long for a decision?

If I can't even get the month right, I'm never going to get into business school! : )

Yes, Feb 13th...but good point on how many apps they had to process that day.

I really feel for you guys with some of these 3 to 5 week waits after interviews. It's been 9 days for me, and already feels like forever. It's almost like Columbia is putting students on a "silent wait-list". My first thought is that they're waiting until the March 4th deposit deadline to determine the size of their class thus far, and then will dole out a (hopefully) large number of admits. That would mean another week from today at least. Going to be a long wait ...

Good call NickTW! I will try to hold off my anxiety until after March 4. Haha.

Glad to hear that there are others in the same boat.

Will more interview invites be sent out? I applied just before the R2 scholarship deadline, but I have not received a ding or any other status email from Columbia unlike some others here. Trying to keep hope alive...

At least you guys are done with your interviews or have heard more than just "under review" (since 2/2). At this point I'm about to relinquish all hope. This long wait -I've been defecating red colored clay based building materials just hoping to get an invite. Doesn't seem like it's going to happen. :(

One more average Joe who submitted 6am Jan 6th, and went "under review" Jan 26th. Nothing heard.
The first was a "maybe or no" 4 show

Same here. I too submitted on 1/6 and have yet to hear a response other than "under review".
