Congrats flyingator!!! That's great news.

The acceptance rate for members of GC seem to be pretty good for CBS ED this year, much better than last year. Hopefully this trend continues.

flyingator, i'm guessing you'r a J-term applicant? you're so luck that you found out in the same day! My application just turned to interview complete today (im an ED applicant) as well and i keep refreshing my email every 5 minutes =( I heard the average wait time from complete to decision is around 1 week/9 days?

oh i agree. everytime i get a new email my heart skips a beat and then im thoroughly disappointed. on the bw forums, someone posted that they didnt get their acceptance until 5 WEEKS after their interview went complete. that's just mean. my application status went to interview complete yesterday...hoping i'll find out by end of this week/by thanksgiving.... :?

Does anyone know what percentage of applicants are invited to interview and what percentage of the interviwees are finally accepted at CBS?

I applied pretty much last minute on 10/7 and have heard nothing. I am going to assume that if I don't hear by Thanksgiving that it is a no-go. One would think that the admissions at CBS would have enough regard for applicants that they would at least render us a denial by now if they knew they were not going to interview us. The only thing I can think of is that they are waiting to see what dust settles after those who got interview invite about a week or two ago. They may not get everything they are looking for from those applicants and fire out a few more interview invites in early December.

Yeah - that is what I am hoping for as well. I was not sure if they just send out dings as soon as they render a decision, which I hope would they do, or just wait and send out all the dings at one time.

Can anybody help me out? I'm an idiot. I attended a presentation on Columbia in Italy and have followup questions for the adcom lady who presented. But I've lost her card and can't remember her name! Does anyone know the name of any adcom folks who have presented in Europe? I would definitely remember if I hear it! Thanks guys! Good luck to those waiting for calls.
