I got a Steelers cap right at the airport, and had a great time, despite the unfortunate ending.

Dang - I think I saw you CMV. Sorry for not speaking up, as I thought it would be rather awkward if I walked up to someone and asked her "are you CMV?" if she wasn't you... But I did see someone with a Steeler's cap affixed to a piece of rolling luggage...

Interviewed for R2 on Jan 24th
I just received an email from a 1st year student asking me how my visit was and introducing herself.
Hopefully this means they like my application and are trying to keep me interested!

I wonder if the correspondence will have an effect on the final decision, as in will the student offer an opinion to adcom?

Mine's down too, has been for the past couple of days. But figured I didn't really need to get in. I get the message invalid username/password

Students do not give feedback to admissions. When visiting you should feel free to ask current students informal questions about the school without worrying about your candidacy.

This happens to me sometimes after I check another school's status. The browser autofills my info with the other school's login, which is different (email address rather than PIN). You might want to close your browser and start over, making sure you're using the correct PIN/password combination.

No, I think they're only meant to indicate which round each person applied to (when there is no more information).

Good question!
I guess it comes down to
1. Love for the school as demonstrated by your essays and the interview. Tepper does have a high yield rate and the 1st essay question asks you about the efforts you made to know Tepper better.
2. Clarity of post MBA goals.

My impression is that unlike some other schools, most of the screening is done *after* the interview, and with the interview as an additional source of information, rather than the final "make or break". This explains the very quick turnaround for the first interview invites, which came less than a week after the deadline.
