Mine was also devoid of scholarship information. Guess we'll have to wait until Monday for that email.[/quote]

No $$$ info for me either. I'm trying to decide between UT and UNC before next weekend. I hope they pull through with some $ on Monday.

Anyone hear anything about scholarships today yet? Would this show up on the status page for our application?

In R1, accepted students receiving any type of scholarship were notified via email. So for R3, if you are awarded any type of scholarship or fellowship, you will hear something TODAY, via email. I seem to recall it was later in the afternoon the Forum Board began lighting up with input from those receiving an award. If you her nothing by 6PM EST, you can assume you didn't receive anything. I'm not 100% certain about the last statement, but believe it's fairly accurate. Hope this helps.

"For Waitlisted friends" :
I got admit after being waitlisted twice(Applied in ER and got admit with R2).
I guess, it's important to convey that UNC is still on your priority list. In addition, showing your understanding of program and showing that you have enough understanding of UNS to hit the ground running, works in your favour. Obviously, any promotion or GMAT improvement is great., I had promotions, but no GMAT hike. Good Luck and don't loose the hope.

Folks,
I need a little help here. I am an "international student", working as IT consultant, with 6 yr of exp. Big firms and over 3 years of exp in US.
I want to make a transition to Finance(Non I-Banking is fine with me). I got an admit to UNC after a long wait and recently got admit from Mccombs too. Obviously, I am confused. Can you share your thoughts about my prospects of transitioning into Finance with these 2 schools. I found them similar in many of the parameters.
Please consider that I am an international student.

I am holding out hope that your statements are not true. I hope that UNC is still sending scholarship information. But I am losing hope quickly.

Pretty sure the hope is gone by this point

It was surprisingly quiet for this thread though - was there really only one member here who got an R3 scholarship? They must have given the majority out in the earlier rounds.

Wow, I'm going to call tomorrow. If I really didn't get anything then my choice between schools just got easier.

Yep, I called. All scholarship dollars are out. Also said they are overextended and it isn't likely that more dollars will be given. Sad, I had high hopes that something would work out.
